Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on the rise on most indices on Thursday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s session with increases on most indices, transactions totalling 12.9 million lei (2.5 million euros) 30 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.02%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.01%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, lost 0.01%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, also depreciated by 0.01%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.37%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, advanced by 0.06%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, won 0.37%.

According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Ropharma (5.59%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+2.69%) and Rompetrol Well Services (+2.27%).

On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-14.55%), Compania Energopetrol (-10.00%) and Carbochim (-2.68%) were down.
