The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s session on the rise on most indices, with transactions totalling 4.4 million lei (870,885 euros) 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, went slightly up by 0.31%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was also up by 0.31%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, saw an advance of 0.25%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, lost 0.24%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs was also down by 1.56%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, inched up by 0.51%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.07%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Comelf (+8.60%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+3.90%) and Simtel Team (+2.54%).
On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-14.91%), Fondul Proprietatea (-10.00%) and Carbochim (-6.61%) were decreasing.
