Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on the rise Tuesday trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s session higher, with total transactions reaching 10.6 million lei (2.08 million euros) 40 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 0.09%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, gained 0.06%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.05%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, gained 0.08%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.12%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.33%.

The BET AeRO index, which references 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.08%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Armatura (4.76%), Vrancart (3.79%) and Erste Group Bank AG (1.80%).

On the other hand, shares of Comcm (-10.88%), Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest (-10.34%) and Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-6.48%) were down. AGERPRES
