Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Thursday’s session in the red on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened with a decrease on most indices, Thursday’s session, and the turnover amounted to 11.86 million RON (2.38 million euros), after 30 minutes from the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.05%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded a similar decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, lost 0.03%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.21%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs rose by 0.90%, and the BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, rose by 0.05%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by: Condmag (+10%), UCM Resita (+4.17%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+4.02%).

On the other hand, the shares of Prebet SA Aiud (-4.2%), Socep (-2.97%) and Prefab (-2.27%) were down.
