Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Thursday’s trading session down on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s trading session lower on most indices, with transactions of 2.4 million RON (483,707 EUR) carried out in the first 30 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went down by 0.08%, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares decreased 0.05%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers lost 0.08%, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK, was down 0.09%.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies went up 0.07%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG fell by 0.22%.

According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Carbochim (+14.53%), Impact Developer&Contractor (+3.37%) and Aerostar (+2.09%).

Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Romgaz (-1,82%), Rompetrol Well Services (-1,64%) and AAGES (-1,44%).
