The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s trading session higher, with transactions of 2.87 million RON (576,384 EUR) carried out in the first 45 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 0.08%, and so did the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers advanced by 0.06%, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK, decreased by 0.05%.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies inched up 0.03%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG went down 0.09%.
According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Bermas (+7.91%), Armătura (+5.08%) and Compa (+1.23%).
Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Electroarges (-9.33%), COMCM Constanta (-8.74%) and Zentiva (-7.10%).
