The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s trading session up on most indices, and the value of trading amounted to 3.31 million lei (665,999 euros) after 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.43%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, recorded a similar advance to the main index.
At the same time, the broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.33%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated 0.22%.
The SIFs’ BET-FI index depreciated 0.30% in the first 30 minutes after the start of the session, while the BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, was up 0.30%.
Likewise, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was up 0.16%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in the value of shares were: Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+7.19%), Ropharma (+3.49%) and Rompetrol Well Services (+2.66%).
On the other hand, AETA (-6.40%), AAGES (-1.45%) and Evergent Investments (-0.69%) shares were down.
