The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s session higher, with turnover reaching 5.34 million RON (1.05 million euros), 35 minutes after the start of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 1.10%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an advance of 1.07%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, „gained” 0.98%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.82%.
On the other hand, the BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a depreciation of 0.29%.
BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered an advance of 1.03% and the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was up by 0.16%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Artego (+13.56%), Prefab (+11.51%) and Carbochim (+8.33%).
On the other hand, shares of Farmaceutica Remedia (-1.90%), Infinity Capital Investments (-1.74%) and the GlobalInvest Energy&Financials ETF (-1.26%) were down.
