The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s trading session higher on most indices, with transactions of RON 5.77 million (EUR 1.16 million), an hour and a half into the trading session.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.31%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.29%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.22%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.21%.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies went down by 0.40%, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG gained 0.41%.
According to BVB, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Bermas (+5.67%), UCM Resita (+3.76%) and AAGES (+2.90%).

Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Carbochim (-12.50%), Mecanica Fina (-10.16%) and Lion Capital (-1.36%).
