Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Wednesday’s session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s session higher, the value of exchanges amounting to 2.2 million RON (444,002 euros), after the first 30 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 32%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, was up 0.31%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, rose by 0.37%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, was up 0.27%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a 1.16% increase, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, gained 0.39%.

According to the BVB data, Sinteza (+11.20%), Infinity Capital Investments (+3.35%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+1.86%) saw the biggest increases in the value of shares.

On the other hand, COMCM Constanta (-9.94%), Ropharma (-1.69%) and Simtel Team (-1.50%) shares went down.
