The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s meeting with growth, and turnover amounted to 6.75 million RON (1.35 million euros) half an hour after the start of transactions.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.56%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, was up by 0.53% .
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, rose by 0.47%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.33%.
The BET-FI index of the SIFs registered an advance of 0.12%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.29%.
According to BVB data, Turbomecanica (+2.24%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+2.04%) and Romgaz (+1.89%) registered the biggest increases in the value of shares.
On the other hand, the shares of Biofarm (-11.30%), AROBS Transilvania Software (-4.49%) and AAGES (-4.35%) were in decline.
