The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s trading session lower, with RON 5.91 million RON (EUR 1.19 ml) worth of transactions performed in the first hour after the start of trades.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dropped 0.11 percent, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares was down 0.05 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers fell 0.12 percent, and the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK dipped by an equal 0.12 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies slid 0.25 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG was down 0.04 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market opened 0.20 percent higher.
According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were the Napoca Construction Company (+15 percent), Chimcomplex (+12.06 percent), and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+1.69 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Rompetrol Rafinare (-3.97 percent), Rompetrol Well Services (-1.93 percent), and Longshield Investment Group (-1.72 percent).
