The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday’s trading session upwards and with 93.21 million RON (18.78 million euros) worth of trades, write Agerpres.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, advanced 0.40 percent to 14,261.13 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.37 percent. The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.34 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK inched up 0.09 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies advanced 1.27 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG picked up 0.01 percent. The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO closed 0.06 percent higher. The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Hidroelectrica with 38.25 million RON, followed by Romgaz, which generated trades worth 9.82 million RON, and Banca Transilvania with 9.80 million RON.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Energopetrol (+13.95 percent), Bermas (+4.80 percent), and Fondul Proprietatea (+4.50 percent). Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were SIF Hoteluri (-14.50 percent), Electroarges (-13.48 percent), and Comelf (-5.50 percent).
