The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s trading session lower on most indices, with turnover totaling 2.7 million lei (552,688 euros), half an hour after the start of trading.
The main index BET, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a depreciation of 0.16%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, recorded a similar decrease to the main index.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, „lost” 0.16%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated 0.08%.
The SIFs’ BET-FI index was lower 0.13%. BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was down 0.26%.
According to BVB data, Comcm (+12.66%), Patria Bank (+1.83%) and Oil Terminal (+1.25%) recorded the highest increases in share value.
On the other hand, Rompetrol Rafinare (-3.42%), Bermas (-2.76%) and SSIF BRK Financial Group (-2.33%) were down.
