The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) gained 3.19 billion RON in capitalization, 1.64%, last week, and the value of share trading decreased by 7.91%, compared to the previous week, according to the data published by BVB, consulted by Agerpres.
The stock market capitalization reached 196.563 billion RON, in the period 14 – 18 November 2022, from 193.372 billion RON in the week 7 – 11 November 2022.
Share trading generated a turnover of 154.148 million RON, down from 167.400 million RON, in the previous week.
The best trading day at BVB was Tuesday, November 15, when a turnover of 40.589 million RON was recorded, and the worst day, Friday, November 18, with a transaction value of 15.611 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange – BET – closed the week at 11,681.25 points.
Banca Transilvania’s shares were the most liquid securities on the BVB’s main segment, generating transactions of 47.044 million RON and a price increase of 3.23 pct.
In the top of transactions are OMV Petrom securities, with exchanges of 17.494 million RON (-1.11 pct) and the shares of Fondului Proprietatea, with transactions of 15.477 million RON (3.51 pct).
The most important increases in the quotations were registered by the shares SIF Hotels (+23.53 pct), Electrica (+15.17 pct) and Conted (+14.78 pct).
At the opposite end, important decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatii de Constructii Napoca, with a decline of 27.19 pct, followed by those of Carbochim (-18.30 pct) and Dafora (-15.94 pct).
