Bucharest University of Economic Studies to host round table on Tuesday on applying the EU Methane Regulation

Published on

A round table will be held on Tuesday at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), as part of I-MER, a European project led by the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) within ASE and funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).

The project supports Romania and the Czech Republic in effectively implementing the EU Methane Regulation by strengthening institutional capacity, promoting dialogue between government, business and civil society, and advancing practical solutions to reduce methane emissions in the energy sector.

According to the organisers, the event aims to bring together industry operators, policymakers, regulatory authorities, international experts and civil society representatives to strengthen commitment and cooperation in applying the EU Methane Regulation, while also identifying key challenges, good practices and practical solutions to accelerate its effective implementation.

The project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). AGERPRES
