Thus, the police at the Nadlac I border crossing point verified a truck registered in Germany, driven by a Bulgarian, and found 20 migrants hidden in the trailer. According to the documents presented, the driver was transporting „hazardous products” on the Turkey-Italy route.

„Following the thorough control of the means of transport, which was actually empty, twenty foreign citizens were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment. The persons were picked up and transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations where, following the checks, the border police established that they are citizens of Syria, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, aged between 20 and 54. At the same time, it was established that the persons in question entered our country legally, based on personal documents,” the Arad Border Police informs on Wednesday.

Also, the border police at the Varsdan border crossing point checked a truck driven by a Turkish citizen and found four migrants from Morocco and Pakistan, aged between 20 and 27, who entered Romania legally, hidden in the trailer.
