The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher across all indices on Monday, and 30 minutes after the session started, trades were worth RON 10.54 million (EUR 2.07 million).
The main BET index, tracking the 17 most liquid companies, rose 0.03%, while the BET-Plus index, covering the 37 most liquid BVB shares, gained 0.05%.
Similarly, the extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks increased by 0.05%, and the BET-BK benchmark for investment funds climbed by the same margin.
The BET-FI index of SIFs rose 0.31%, and BET-NG, tracking the 10 energy and utilities companies, gained 0.30%.
According to BVB data, the largest stock gains were seen in Armatura (+14.41%), Compa (+12.78%) and Transelectrica (+2.85%).
Conversely, Promateris (-9.38%), Prefab (-7.41%) and Mecanica Fina (-4.74%) recorded losses. AGERPRES
