BVB stocks open Monday’s trading session mostly lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly lower on Monday on trades of RON 4.62 million (EUR 918,820) 30 minutes into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks fell by 0.10%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks declined 0.09%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks gained 0.01%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.04%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks advanced 1.12%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.08%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Turism Felix (+3.81%), Patria Bank (+2.18%) and Lion Capital (+1.52%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Armatura (-7.14%), Sinteza (-4.48%) and IAR Brasov (-2.49%).
