BVB stocks open Thursday’s trading session mostly higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly higher on Thursday on trades of over RON 5.2 million (EUR 1.03 million) half an hour into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.22%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.21%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks went down 0.20%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, went down 0.29%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks increased by 0.22%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.10%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Sinteza (14.93%), Condmag (+8.33%) and Alumil Rom Industry (+3.24%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Electroaparataj (-14.61%), Green Tech International (-4.73%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-3.60%).
