BVB stocks open Wednesday’s trading session mostly higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly higher on Wednesday on trades of RON 9.74 million (EUR 1.91 million ) half an hour into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.29%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.28%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.25%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.21%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks declined 0.19%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, increased by 0.26%.

The top three risers were Aquila Part Prod Com (+2.22%), Fondul Deschis de Investitii ETF Energie Patria-Tradeville (+2.03%) and Fondul Deschis de Investitii ETF BET BRK (+1.84%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-3.12%), Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest (-2.64%) and PTR (-2.37%) were. AGERPRES
