The budget of 274.29 million RON allocated to the North-West Region for the „Casa Verde Fotovoltaice/Photovoltaic Green House” 2024 ran out within two minutes of the start of the registration session, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests (MMAP) informs.

The source says that 9,143 files were registered in the session intended for the six counties.

„This year’s programme is all the more attractive because, for the first time, we are also financing the electricity storage facilities produced from renewable sources, which will be installed together with the photovoltaic panels, and this was reflected in the pace which the registrations completed this morning with. At the same time, the subsidy has increased to 30,000 RON, which is a consistent support for future applicants. The programme will continue with the registration of individuals from the other regions, one day for each region in the limit of the allocated budget, and on October 9, 2024, religious units will be able to register,” declared, on Friday, the president of the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), Laurentiu-Adrian Neculaescu, in a press release.

The 2024 financing session for the enrollment of natural person applicants in the „Casa Verde Fotovoltaice/Photovoltaic Green House” Programme takes place between September 27 and October 8, with stages of one day for each region or until the budget related to each region is exhausted, announced AFM.

At the same time, religious units will be able to register in the programme on October 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., or until the budget is exhausted.

Financing is granted in the amount of a maximum of 30,000 RON for the purchase and installation of a system of photovoltaic panels and a storage facility for electricity produced from renewable sources, provided that the beneficiary comes with 3,000 RON as own contribution.
