Cazanciuc: A modern, efficient, accessible and quality justice system – important prerequisite for development, stability

Published on

Former Justice Minister Robert Cazanciuc maintains that a modern, efficient, accessible and quality justice system, adapted to the needs of citizens and the private sector, is an important prerequisite for the development and economic and social stability of the country, wirte Agerpres.

„As a social, professional or political person, who has passed through all the democratic powers of the state, judicial, executive or legislative, I want, I militate and I work for everything that justice means in its entirety – whether we talk about the Constitution, as the foundation of the legal and healthy functioning of a state based on the rule of law and a consolidated democracy, or whether we talk about the laws of justice, criminal, civil, administrative or commercial, I am guided only by a philosophy built exclusively on the idea of justice, fairness and respect for all that the act of justice entails. A modern, efficient, accessible and quality justice system, adapted to the needs of citizens and the private sector, is an important prerequisite for the economic and social development and stability of the country. It is an important point in PSD’s [Social Democratic Party} political programme,” Cazanciuc says in the Justice Day message posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

He underlines that „a rule of law without law remains a mere utopia.”

„A democratic society in today’s sense builds its foundation only on an act of justice carried out only by respecting unanimously accepted and consolidated rights and freedoms,” says the former Minister of Justice.
