The plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies adopted, on Wednesday, the draft law establishing 2025 as the „George Enescu Cultural Year”.

The draft law aims to establish 2025 as the „George Enescu Cultural Year” to celebrate the life and work of composer George Enescu, the year in which the 70th anniversary of the death of the national musician and composer is celebrated.

According to the project, in this context, cultural, artistic or educational events dedicated to celebrating the life and work of George Enescu can be organized.

The project was adopted by the Senate, with the Chamber of Deputies being the decision-making body.
