The road workers acted, during the night from Monday to Tuesday, on the entire road network in the administration, with 1,027 machines and spread approximately 8,928 tons of anti-slip material, at this time all the roads were open.

We call on motorists to adapt their speed to the winter conditions, to have their vehicles equipped with adequate tires and to avoid sudden maneuvers, so that unwanted events do not occur,” it is shown in a post on the Facebook page of the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR).
According to the quoted source, CNAIR machines are constantly patrolling to keep the road safe and the lack of snow on the road can give drivers the false impression that they can drive at high speeds.
In these conditions, the lack of suitable tires and inappropriate speed increase the risk of accidents, warns CNAIR.
„Drive cautiously, adapt your speed to the traffic conditions, go on the road only if you have vehicles properly equipped for winter conditions!,” say the company’s representatives.
