The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Tuesday, a Code Yellow warning of showers valid until Wednesday morning at 3:00 am in 12 counties in the west and north of the country, write Agerpres.
Between June 27, 2:00 p.m. and June 28, 3:00 a.m., in the north of Banat, Crisana, Maramures, the west and north of Transylvania, as well as in the north of Moldavia, locally there will be periods of accentuated atmospheric instability. This will be manifested by showers, electrical discharges, short-term intensification of the wind (with gusts of 55…70 km/h), in small areas, storms and hail. In short intervals of time or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20…25 l/sq m and isolated over 30…40 l/sq m.
The counties marked with Code Yellow are: Alba, Arad, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Cluj, Hunedoara, Maramures, Salaj, Satu Mare, Suceava and Timis.
Also, for the interval June 27, 2:00 p.m. – June 28, 11:00 p.m., meteorologists have issued an information regarding periods with showers, electrical discharges, isolated hail and local wind intensifications, with speeds of 45…55 km/h Such manifestations will be reported in the afternoon of Tuesday (June 27) and during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday (June 27/28) in the west, center and north of the country, and during Wednesday (June 28) in south, southeast, in the mountains and locally in the rest of the territory. Water quantities of 15…25 l/m2 will accumulate in some places.
