Construction of border road bridge over Tisa, on agenda of Government meeting

The executive could approve, in Tuesday’s meeting, an agreement with the Government of Ukraine regarding the construction of the border road bridge over the Tisa river, on the border between the two states, in the area of Sighetu Marmatiei – Bila Tserkva, according to a Government press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday evening.

The agenda of the meeting includes several draft decisions, among which is the one for the approval of the aforementioned agreement, signed in Kyiv on October 18, 2023.

The executive will also adopt the income and expenditure budgets for 2024 for several institutions: Administration of the Maritime Danube Ports Galati, the Maritime Ports Administration Constanta, the Orastie Mechanical Plant, CUPRU MIN, the National Company of Mineral Waters, the National Salt Company, the Copper, Gold and Iron Company MINVEST, the Romanian Lottery National Company, the Autonomous Technology Directorate for Nuclear Energy.

On the agenda of the Executive meeting is also the draft law for the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the United States of America on collaboration in the use of travel information, signed on January 19, 2024, in Bucharest, as well as a decision for the distribution by administrative units/subdivisions -territorial and state pre-university education units of the amount of 97,099,000 RON, for the financing of the „Healthy Meal” national program, during the period of teaching activities in 2024.

The members of the Cabinet will also discuss a memorandum regarding the set of priorities in the field of climate change and the action plan for their fulfillment, related to the year 2024.

Another topic of the Government meeting will be the stage of preparation and organization of the elections for the members of the European Parliament from Romania in 2024 and the elections for local public administration authorities this year.
