Romania’s National Centre for Supervision and Control of Communicable Diseases with the National Public Health Institute reported on Monday that in the August 29 – September 4 week, 2,270 doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines were administered, 570 first doses, 503 second doses, 800 third doses, and 397 fourth doses, according to Agerpres.
Of the total number of doses administered, 36 were Pfizer Pediatric, for children aged 5 to 11 years.
Since the beginning of the mass vaccination campaign on December 27, 2020, 16,888,110 doses have been administered to 8,136,698 people, of whom 8,124,339 have been fully vaccinated, and 2,624,854 have been vaccinated with a third, booster shot.
Since the beginning of the immunisation campaign, there have been a combined 20,060 side effects to the COVID-19 vaccines, of which 2,239 local and 17,821 general.
