Published on

President of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic is paying an official visit to Romania November 7-9, at the invitation of Speaker of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu, according to Agerpres.

„The visit will take place as a result of an invitation extended by Marcel Ciolacu, with the aim of deepening the Romanian-Croatian inter-parliamentary dialogue in order to support common projects of major interest,” according to an internal memorandum of the general secretary of the Chamber.

On Tuesday, Jandrokovic is scheduled to meet Ciolacu and Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca and deliver a speech to a plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies.

The draft schedule also includes talks with acting Chair of the Romanian Senate Alina Gorghiu and with President Klaus Iohannis.

Jandrokovic will travel to Carasova, Caras-Severin County, for a meeting with the local Croatian community.
