Donbas is most dangerous place on the territory of Ukraine, says a former governor

Published on

A former Ukrainian governor describes the Donbas as the most dangerous place on the territory of Ukraine, where fighting is ongoing and where Ukrainian soldiers are exposed to the greatest risk, according to Agerpres.

The former head of the Regional State Military Administration of the Chernivtsi region Serhiy Osachuk, who is now an officer in the border troops on the Eastern front, said on Tuesday, for Agerpres, that there is fighting in Donbas, which includes the Donetsk and Luhansk regions „between life and death, between freedom, dignity and Putin’s prison regime”.

„The goal of the entire Ukrainian people, of every Ukrainian man, is to defend their country from the Russian aggressor. I could not propose anything else and I am proud to be here today, on the front line. It is a border between life and death, between freedom, dignity and Putin’s prison regime. With the help of the whole world, the Ukrainian people are raising a new, solid border of a free, democratic Europe and rejecting the Russian occupier and sending him to his full of camps’ country,” said Osachuk.
