EduMin Deca announces draft on National Platform for Single Reporting in Higher Education

Published on

Education Minister Ligia Deca announced on Friday the launch for public consultation of the draft decision for putting into operation the National Platform for Single Reporting in Higher Education.

According to the minister, universities will no longer have to report data on their functioning, the activity of students and teaching staff or university graduates more than once.

„We continue digitisation and thus reduce the workload of universities in terms of data reporting! We will have a National Platform for Single Reporting in Higher Education (PNRUIS), so universities will no longer have to report data on their operations, student and staff activity or graduates multiple times. We have launched in public consultation the draft decision for putting into operation the National Platform for Single Reporting in Higher Education (PNRUIS),” Deca wrote on Facebook.

Another major advantage of this platform is that PNRUIS will support Romania in fulfilling its reporting obligations to international bodies and structures such as the European Education Area, the European Higher Education Area, OECD and UNESCO.

At the same time, it will ensure access to updated data for higher education institutions, the National Institute of Statistics and the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
