Electoral Bureau: Sibiu mayor Fodor gets re-elected with more than 22,300 votes

The mayor of Sibiu, Astrid Fodor (from FDGR – the Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania), got re-elected with 22,373 votes, while the candidate who ranked second, independent Alexandru Gavozdea, obtained 10,838 votes, according to the final data published by the Electoral Municipal Bureau No. 1 from Sibiu on the website of the Sibiu City Hall.

Adrian Bibu (PNL – National Liberal Party) came in third in the race for the position of mayor of Sibiu, after running for the second time, with 6,381 votes.

The county leader of USR (the Save Romania Union) and ADU (United Right Alliance) candidate for the Sibiu City Hall Ruxandra Cibu Deaconu ranked fourth, with 5,541 votes.

The leader of PSD (Social Democratic Party) Sibiu, Gheorghe Giubega, ranked 5th in the election for the mayor of Sibiu, with 4,369 votes.

There were nine people who ran for the office of mayor of Sibiu.
