The Electrica Group announced on Monday that it is under a cyber attack and that its teams of specialists are working with the national cyber security authorities to manage and remedy the incident, informs a press release sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

„We would like to emphasize that the Group’s critical systems are not affected, and any malfunctions occurring in the interaction with our consumers are the effects of the measures taken to protect the internal infrastructure. These measures are temporary and are intended to ensure the security of the entire system,” reads the press release.
