Designated Prime Minister Eugen Tomac says he is ready to find the necessary compromise to provide Romania with stability and that, in cases where there are concerns about the ministerial nominees, he is willing to talk with the parties in order to find people agreed on “by everyone”.

“I am ready to find a compromise, and I stress, a necessary compromise, to provide Romania with stability, predictability and a clear outlook for the immediate future. Where there are uncertainties or concerns, I am obviously willing to talk with the parties and we can propose other people agreed on by everyone. I speak with political leaders every day and, through this message I am sending, I am obviously assuring all political leaders of my complete good faith and of my willingness to discuss each member proposed for the future government, so that there is no distortion whatsoever of good intentions,” Eugen Tomac said.

“From my point of view, in order to succeed in removing any kind of debate, I am willing to discuss each proposed member with the political parties precisely because I want us to get past this stage, precisely because I want us to provide Romania with a government with full powers so that we can continue to manage the emergencies facing this country,” he added.
