Eugen Tomac reveals who his ministers will be: There will be three deputy prime ministers. Dan Neculăescu has accepted the offer to head the Ministry of Defense

Prime Minister-designate Eugen Tomac spoke exclusively on Monday with Mihai Gâdea on *Sinteza Zilei* about the government he is proposing. The cabinet will have three deputy prime ministers: for Education, Economy, and Digitalization. Tomac also revealed some of the individuals who will serve as ministers, including Dan Neculăescu at the Ministry of Defense.

Regarding a deputy prime minister for the economic sector, Tomac emphasized that he has not yet made a decision.

“To build a solid and effective team, I’ve had, I believe, dozens of meetings over the past three days with many specialists, because there are two key factors. You must have a deep understanding of the system and the authority to inspire action. At the moment, discussions are ongoing.

I haven’t made a decision yet, because there are several proposals and I still have these discussions ahead of me,” he added.

Regarding the ministries of Digitalization, Health, Finance, and the Environment, Tomac says he has managed to meet with many people over the past 48 hours.

“In Digitalization, I’ve identified several professionals with whom I’ll be meeting tomorrow, and, of course, I’ll decide who I want to bring onto the team.

Defense and diplomacy are very important, and I’m glad that the man who managed to advance our application to join the OECD, Luca Niculescu, has agreed to join the new government.

Over the past 48 hours, I’ve managed, so to speak, in addition to consultations with the parties, to meet with many other people.

We have several options for Health; I will make a decision tomorrow. And for Finance, there are several proposals that I will review.
