Published on

The National Transplant Agency will mark the European Donation Day, celebrated this year on October 5, through an event during which the Victoria Palace will be illuminated in green, the thematic color of the 2024 campaign, which symbolizes hope and solidarity towards those who are waiting for a transplant.

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, on this day several prominent buildings in Europe will be illuminated in green, the color of the European Donation Day in 2024, to promote voluntary, unpaid, life-saving organ donation.

The campaign aims to honor the people who donated and their families. Also, messages of thanks will be sent to health professionals who save lives through organ donation and transplantation.
