The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, on Thursday, November 13, will participate in the meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN), organized in Brussels, according to a press release from the Ministry.

The Minister of Finance will attend the working breakfast organised in the presence of the President of the European Investment Bank and the Director General of the European Stability Mechanism, the EU-European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Ministerial Dialogue, and the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN).

He will have a set of key objectives to follow, meant for stabilising Romania’s position in the European economic area, with major topics on the agenda such as economic consolidation and customs reform. One of the most important expected outcomes will be the adoption of the Council Decision on the revised National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) of Romania.

„The Minister will underscore that this step will confirm the ambitious adaptation of the reform and investment programme to the current realities, which is essential in speeding up sustainable growth and strengthening national economic resilience,” the press release added. AGERPRES
