Five migrants found hiding in a truck behind a double wall at western border

Five migrants from Sri Lanka were caught, at the western Nadlac II Border Crossing Point, when attempting to leave the country illegally, hiding in a specially arranged place in a truck that was heading to Italy.

According to the Arad Border police, the five migrants from Sri Lanka were between the ages of 31 and 48, and had legally entered Romania.

The Romanian driver is being investigated for migrant trafficking, while the foreigners are being investigated for attempting to fraudulently cross the state border.
