Published on

Romania’s Foreign Minister Oana Toiu is participating today in a meeting in Luxembourg of the heads of diplomacy of the European Union member states.

The agenda of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) will include Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East and EU-Indo-Pacific relations, according to the Romanian Foreign Ministry (MAE).

„In the Current affairs section, the recent developments in the Republic of Moldova, the situation in Georgia and the developments in Sudan will be addressed. On the sidelines of the FAC meeting, an informal meeting will also take place on working methods, with the aim of strengthening the EU’s presence globally, through a more efficient decision-making process.”

Toiu will also attend a ministerial meeting on cross-regional security and connectivity, with an agenda focused on cooperation in the Black Sea region. AGERPRES
