„By law, from 2022, April 11 is established as Financial Education Day. Today, on April 11, the Government adopted the National Strategy for Financial Education for the period 2024 – 2030, through which the Government aims to increase the level of knowledge and skills of Romanians and economic operators in Romania in the financial field, so that they can make decisions related to money knowingly and after the most correct assessment of the opportunities, but also of the risks”, declared Constantin in a press conference at the Victoria Palace.

He specified that the measures included in the strategy also support the implementation of an important objective of sustainable development included in the PNRR – quality education and represents a target for our country’s accession to the OECD.

According to Constantin, the strategy will be implemented through a series of measures at the level of the Ministry of Education and was developed in the framework of a partnership between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank of Romania, the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Romanian Association of Banks and National Consumer Protection Authority.
