Government sets limits of budget and commitment appropriations for November 2024

The Government established on Friday, by memorandum, the limits of budget and commitment appropriations for November 2024.

According to a press release issued by the Executive, the adoption of the memorandum approves the opening of budget appropriations related to the budget appropriations limits for November 2024, according to Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2023 on some fiscal-budgetary measures, extension of some terms, with subsequent amendments and additions.

The analysis of the budget execution for the first 9 months of the year shows that the main credit authorizing officers financed entirely from the state budget, the social insurance budget and the special funds budgets have concluded legal commitments amounting to RON 469.5 billion, or 53.53% of the total approved, and payments were made in the amount of RON 442.4 billion, representing 70.04% of the annual provisions, the press release said.
