The strategy aims to promote the rights of children, including the most vulnerable, in all areas of life, by ensuring full access to quality public services.
The directions of action target areas such as education, health, social assistance, justice for minors or strengthening the participation of children in the decision-making processes that concern them. The document summarizes the priorities for the next five years, all harmonized with those assumed at the European level: eliminating all forms of violence against children, reducing poverty and social exclusion, promoting child-friendly services and systems, protecting and guaranteeing the rights of all children in situations of vulnerability.
„Also, the development of programs and the implementation of measures aimed at ensuring children’s access to digital public services under safe conditions are also being pursued. At the same time, it is proposed to promote a child-friendly justice system, a system of criminal, civil and administrative procedures which does not inhibit or intimidate them and, at the same time, guarantee the respect of all their rights”, the cited source mentions.
