Group of six Pakistanis stopped in their tracks as they attempt to illegally cross into Serbia

Published on

Border police assigned to the Lunga westernmost sector tracked down six Pakistanis as they attempted to illegally cross the border into Serbia in order to reach Western Europe, write Agerpres.

The tentative illegal border crossers were detected as part of a specific action to combat illegal migration, the Timisoara Border Police said in a release on Tuesday.

The group was taken to the precincts of the Jimbolia Border Police Sector for investigations, as there was no justification for their presence in the area.

It was determined that they are Pakistanis aged between 29 and 42, and that they had legally entered Romania.

Border police are carrying out investigations for attempted illegal crossing of the state border, and the necessary legal measures will be taken upon completion.
