A total of 124 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered between November 24 and 30, down 21% compared to the previous week, the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) reports on Tuesday.
According to the INSP, 29 of the new cases in the last week were recorded in reinfected patients, who tested positive more than 90 days after the first infection or another re-infection.
No deaths caused by COVID-19 were reported in the said interval.
During the same period, 364 RT-PCR tests and 5,783 rapid antigen tests were performed.
The positivity rate was 2%, the same as reported in the previous week. AGERPRES
