The President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, who is visiting Bucharest, expressed his gratitude, in the meetings held on Thursday with Romanian officials, for the help extended „in these complicated times”, according to Agerpres.

„I am happy to return to Bucharest where this morning I had the pleasure of meeting and discussing with my colleagues from the Romanian Parliament. The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies pleasantly surprised me by inviting me to visit the Romanian Patriarchy where I had a heart-to-heart talk with His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church. After that, I discussed the latest events in the Republic of Moldova and the region with acting president of the Romanian Senate, Alina Gorghiu. I also took this opportunity to express my gratitude for all the help given, especially in these complicated times,” Igor Grosu wrote on Facebook.

He mentioned that on Thursday evening he will meet with business people from Romania and Germany, in an event organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
