Ilie Bolojan does not rule out PNL’s return to government, but sets conditions for PSD. He also talks about a minority government

Ilie Bolojan does not rule out the PNL returning to power, but he is setting conditions for the PSD. “If they admit they have no solution, we won’t back down.”

“The National Liberal Party made a decision yesterday, and it is the Social Democratic Party’s responsibility to come up with a proposal to address the crisis it has created. If they are unable to come up with a solution, they must admit it. It is, at the very least, a matter of common sense to do so.

We have a responsibility in government and we need to see what the solutions will be in this situation in order to move forward,” he said.

Asked if he would support a minority government, Bolojan replied: “It’s good to have a majority. That’s the best situation—to have a stable government. But Romania has functioned very well with minority governments. It’s possible we’ll have this situation.”
