Important visit of Ciolacu government to Qatar and UAE; Sources: Largest meat processing plant to be built in the Big Island of Braila – UAE investment

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu will have an important visit to Qatar and the UAE on Tuesday, together with several ministers. According ECOPOLITIC sources, the largest meat processing plant will be built in the Big Island of Braila – UAE investment.

The Prime Minister will meet with the HRH. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of the State of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Three memorandums of agreement will be signed. The Chief Executive will also meet with representatives of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.

Ciolacu will also have a tête-à-tête meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin ZAYED AL NAHYAN, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and will attend a reception attended by important members of the Romanian community in the UAE.

In Dubai, the Prime Minister will meet His Highness Sheikh Mohammed BIN RASHID AL MAKTOUM, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Constitutional Monarch of the Emirate of Dubai.

According to ecopolitic.ro sources, it is to sign an agreement on a visit from the Emirate to build the largest slaughterhouse in South-East Europe with UAE investment. In Romania, an Emirati company of Al Dahra already operates the largest farm in Europe, the Big Island of Braila.

„Food and agribusiness are important to ADQ’s strategy as they are high growth sectors and important to Abu Dhabi’s socio-economic agenda. Since 1995, when Al Dahra was founded in the UAE, it has become a livestock food company and is a pillar of Abu Dhabi and our country’s food security mandate,” Mohammed Hassan Alsuwaidi, ADQ’s CEO, told digi24.ro a while ago.
