Interim President Bolojan, EC Vice President Roxana Minzatu disuss recovery of delays in implementing NRRP

Acting President Ilie Bolojan received on Friday the Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness of the European Commission, Roxana Minzatu, with talks focusing on the situation of the funds through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

According to a press release from the Presidential Administration, other topics of major interest for Romania and the European Union tackled at the meeting were the Black Sea strategy and the strengthening of defence on the Eastern Flank, accelerating access to European funds and the recovery of the delays in implementing the NRRP, as well as the preparation of defence industry projects in view of the funding through the European programme ReArm / Readiness 2030 and job creation.

The importance of improving inter-institutional collaboration, for a more effective representation of Romania in the European Union and an active contribution to the European construction was also emphasized, the cited source further shows.
