Interim President Ilie Bolojan to participate in videoconference organised by European Council president

Interim President Ilie Bolojan will participate on Wednesday in the videoconference organised by European Council President Antonio Costa.

According to the agenda, Ilie Bolojan will join the videoconference starting at 11:00 AM.

The videoconference precedes the extraordinary European Council meeting, which will take place on March 6.

Also on Wednesday, Interim President Ilie Bolojan invited the leaders of the political parties and formations represented in Parliament for consultations in preparation for Romania’s position at the extraordinary European Council meeting.

On Tuesday, Interim President Ilie Bolojan had a phone conversation with European Council President Antonio Costa, during which he highlighted Romania’s priorities on the EU agenda, with a special focus on regional security and defence, as well as support for Ukraine.
