Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Wednesday that it had launched a drone attack on a US base in Bahrain, following US strikes on Iranian targets along the Strait of Hormuz, and promised that “stronger responses” would follow, state television reported, AFP said.
In response to the US attacks on Jask, Sirik and Qeshm island, which among other things “damaged a telecommunications mast in Sirik and destroyed two water tanks in the city”, “naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a drone attack against the US Fifth Fleet”, based at a facility in Bahrain, the Iranian ideological force said.
